ART 130: Art Appreciation

This course is designed for non-art majors and will introduce them to the social and cultural aspects of art and design. Students will be introduced to the contemporary and historical practices of art production. Instructional modes include lectures, readings, Canvas assignments, discussions, and personal experiences of art viewing and production. Students will learn analytical skills relevant to the historical influences and roles of art production in specific settings.
