Stillman College Police Department provides a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, faculty and visitors. Its mission is to protect the property and the life of all people, while being proactive with crime prevention and officer presence. SC Police Department renders service 24 hours/7 days per week and seeks to education everyone on how to protect him-/herself from becoming a victim to crimes and incidents while being more aware of everyone's surroundings.

Stillman College Police Department offers a variety of services:
- Uniformed officers, available 24 hours per day, every day of the week.
- Both vehicle and foot patrol are conducted to ensure complete safety on campus.
- Zero tolerance of alcohol and drug policy is strictly enforced.
- Provide security escort to anyone on our campus.
- Emergency Alert system to notify student, staff and faculty of any impending emergencies. All campus personnel and students are automatically enrolled in the program. This system is used as a primary means to provide information to the entire campus, which will keep everyone informed and Safe.
During any emergency, Officers can immediately contact the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Fire and Rescue, and emergency medical Services.
All student vehicles must be registered with the Stillman College Police Department. Each student operator must possess a valid Stillman College student ID, driver’s license, proof of liability insurance, and a parking decal. The operator must obey all driving rules and regulations. The College’s main entrance to the campus is guarded.
An Emergency Preparedness plan and rapid notification system is in place in case of emergencies.
